Welcome to ActionKeeper!

During the event you submitted one or two commitments for how you will put the information into action. Once a week, for 4 weeks, you get an email asking how it went. It takes about five minutes. Then your coach talks you through it and helps you create a next action.

Signing in sends a link to your email. There is no password to remember and never was one.

Why it works, when it works.

There's nothing clever about it. Scientific research shows that you are much more likely to follow through on a commitment when you write it down and have formal accountability. That's what ActionKeeper provides: a quick and easy way to track your action, stay accountable to take action, keep your commitments, and make an impact with your new knowledge and skill.

The check-ins are not a test and nobody is scoring you. The most useful answer you can give is the true one, including when the true one is that you did not get to it.

Questions

Things worth knowing.

Who is actually running this?

The speaker, trainer or coach who ran your session. ActionKeeper is the software they use. Their name is on the emails and their reply-to address is on them, so replying reaches them and not us.

How much time does it take?

Two or three minutes at the start to write down what you are going to do. Then one check-in a week, about five minutes, for as long as the program runs. That is all of it.

Can my manager read what I write?

Your reflections and your conversations with the coach are not shown to your employer. What they can see is the commitment you write at the start, and whether you are completing your check-ins, because that is the work they arranged the program for. What stays private is everything you write afterwards: how the week actually went, what got in the way, and anything you tell the coach. Their report shows those only as totals and common themes across everyone.

What can the person running the program see?

The person who enrolled you can see your commitments and whether you are completing your check-ins, because that is the coaching relationship you are in with them. They cannot see your conversations with the AI coach.

Do I need an account or a password?

No password. When you want to get in, you ask for a sign-in link and it arrives in your email. Clicking it signs you in. That is the whole system, which is also why nobody can guess their way into your account.

What is the AI coach, exactly?

It is part of the weekly check-in rather than a chat you open whenever you like. You write how the week went, the coach responds, you reply, and it helps you settle on your next action. That is the exchange, once a week. It is software, it says so, and it will point you to a person rather than trying to handle anything medical, legal or urgent.

What if I fall behind or my plan changes?

Say so in the check-in. Changing a deadline or swapping a commitment for a more realistic one is a normal thing to do, and nothing in the program is set up to make you feel bad about it.

How do I stop the emails?

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and there is a preferences link that lets you turn off the weekly check-in and the reminder separately. Opting out of emails does not remove you from the program, so your dashboard still works if you want to come back to it.

Can I get my data, or have it deleted?

Yes. Ask the person running your program, or reply to any of the emails, and it will be dealt with.

Problems Signing In? Links work once and expire after 24 hours. If yours has expired, ask for a fresh one on the sign-in page. Every sign-in email also carries a code you can type there instead, for when the link will not open. Still stuck? Reply to any email from your program.
